Family planning services provide:
- Birth control supplies for men, women and teens
- Emergency contraception
- Pregnancy tests and counseling
- Tests and treatments for sexually transmitted diseases
- Free and confidential HIV testing
- Hepatitis C testing
- Breast cancer screening
- Cervical cancer screening
- Sterilization counseling and information
- Education and counseling
- Referrals for advanced cancer screening services
- Referrals and information regarding adoption services
Family planning services are available at low cost or no cost to you. To pay for family planning services and supplies, we accept:
- Private Insurance
- Medicaid
- No Medicaid co-payments are required for family planning services and supplies
- No referral from your primary care provider is required.
- Please remember to bring your Medicaid card.
- Plan First
- Plan First is a new insurance program for women between the ages of 19 – 44
- Free birth control
- Free pap tests and breast exams
- Free emergency contraception
- Free STD/HIV testing and counseling
- Apply at Dawson County Family Planning or go online to dpphs.mt.gov/planfirst
- Plan First is a new insurance program for women between the ages of 19 – 44
- Sliding fee scale based on income
