Well Child Clinics

Well child checkups through the Dawson County Health Department’s Well Child Clinic are offered as a preventive health service to the community for any child who is newborn through age 5.

Well child checkups provide prevention and identification of problems at an early age through regular physical assessments and developmental testing.

There is no charge for this service.

Well Child Clinic can provide:

Physical assessments
Height and weight
Urine test
Blood test
Blood pressure test
Immunizations
Denver developmental screening test
Dental evaluation
Evaluation of speech and language
Nutrition counseling
Growth and development counseling
