TRAILER COURTS The definition of a Trailer Court (Title 50, Chapter 52 MCA) is a parcel of land upon which two or more spaces are available to the public and designated for occupancy by trailers or mobile homes for use as a residence. Trailer Courts are required to be licensed under 50-52-103. License fees are established under 50-52-202 MCA and cost $40 per year. The Dawson County Sanitarian inspects trailer courts on an annual and complaint basis for compliance of Title 16, Chapter 10, SubChapter 7 ARM. Trailer Courts, by definition, are considered to be subdivisions. Therefore any new proposal for a Trailer Court must have plans and specifications reviewed and approved by the Department of Environmental Quality. Plans may also be subject to review by the local planning department. |
