Dawson County Tobacco Free Coalition

The Dawson County Tobacco Free Coalition is comprised of individuals who want to help in the tobacco use prevention education in Dawson County. One of the primary functions of the coalition is to provide feedback to the program coordinator in regards to how the Tobacco Use Prevention Program is functioning in Dawson County. Another is to prioritize the tobacco use prevention needs of Dawson County, and to assist the program coordinator in addressing and fulfilling these needs.

The Dawson County Tobacco Free Coalition meets every month on the second Wednesday during the lunch hour (12:00 PM-1:00 PM). These meeting are usually held at the Coffee Den or in the conference room of the Dawson County Health Department. The public is welcome to attend any of these meetings. If you would like to attend, please contact Sandra Hood or Jeanne Seifert at 377-5213 to confirm the date, place and time of the meeting. We ask that you do this for your convenience as these meetings are sometimes rescheduled due to unforeseen conflicts.

Once again, these meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend. If you are interested in becoming a member of the coalition, please contact the Health Department for more details.
