Planning a trip?  Try our selection of audio books --listen to them while driving.

Magazines are available in print as well as on our electronic database.

Special Services
Talking Books are available through the Montana State Library in Helena. Eligible Montana residents who are unable to use standard print materials due to visual, physical and/or reading disabilities can apply to the Montana Talking Book Library to receive free mail loan of recorded books and playback equipment.

Videos and DVDs
The videos and DVDs cost nothing to check out. Watch them as many times as you like for a full 4 weeks.

Computers
Internet access is free.
Our staff will be happy to show you how to use our on-line databases that are available to use in the library, at home, or anywhere in the world.
Over 6,000 on-line magazines are available through InfoTrac.
Auto repair manuals with over 23,000 different year, make, and model combinations and 100,000 factory drawings are included in an automotive database.

Montana Shared Catalog

Endowments

Newspaper Index
The newspaper indexes include information from the Dawson County newspapers dated 1882 through the present. News items are available on card index by subject, 1882-present. Library staff and volunteers are currently entering the information into an online database. Vital Statistics from 1882-present are available on card index format.

Community Room
The community is welcome to use the attractive, handicapped-accessible meeting room which seats up to 50 people and is equipped with a full kitchen. A deposit of $25 is required and will be returned after the room has been inspected. There is no other charge to use the room. Call for reservation no more than four weeks in advance.
